Watermelon Crimson Sweet is a late, popular variety of the same type, which has gained a reputation as an unpretentious and hardy watermelon with excellent commercial characteristics. The ripening period from seedling planting lasts approximately 78-85 days. A plant with long shoots, requires pinching and removal of side shoots. It actively develops on sandy, neutral soils, in any climatic zone of Ukraine. Forms up to 3 fruits even with a significant increase in temperature. Undemanding to watering, with excessive moisture it loses its sugar content. Significantly depletes the soil, so it is recommended to apply fertilizers containing nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Demonstrates resistance to fusarium and anthracnose.

Watermelons Crimson Sweet are round-oval in shape. Weight is 8-10 kg, but individual fruits can grow up to 20 kg. The skin is tough, medium in size, moderate green in color with wide dark stripes. The pulp is red or bright raspberry in color, with a small amount of seeds, homogeneous, crispy, very juicy. Accumulates up to 11% sugar. The harvest can withstand transportation over long distances and long-term storage in a dark, cool place without loss of taste and nutritional value. It is most beneficial when consumed fresh; it is suitable for fermentation and processing.
